Wedge

The Wedge Pad is a hoof pad that is thicker at the heel than at the toe, creating an elevated hoof angle. It is used to alter the horse’s hoof-pastern alignment, reduce strain on certain tendons and ligaments, and provide therapeutic support for specific hoof or limb conditions. Wedge pads are commonly used in corrective and therapeutic shoeing and can be combined with packing materials to improve comfort and support while helping the horse move more efficiently.
